Our team has more than 15 years’ experience in retail café and hospitality supply, services and business development. We want to share that experience, knowledge, know-how and networks with you. 

I’m Berenice Walker, the Owner and Founder of Emu Coffee. I started Emu Coffee seven years ago, back in 2019. When Emu Coffee began, our vision was to help small business owners re-establish themselves after leaving a coffee franchise. Over time, that evolved into helping independent cafe owners grow and scale their businesses. 

Before launching Emu Coffee, I spent more than 10 years with what was then Australia’s largest coffee brand. During that time, I watched the business grow from around 70 stores in Australia to almost 1,000 worldwide. I also grew with it, starting in Franchise Selection before moving into the world of new café openings across Australia and internationally. Along the way, I also had the chance to work in drink development, which I absolutely loved. I’ve also had the privilege of working with other great brands and people, including Guzman y Gomez and Pappa Flock.

During Covid, our online retail business took off. I believe that this period of time was the beginning for locals in Western Sydney to consider giving their local Roastery a try. Four year later, and I am proud to say that we have retained most of our then, new customers. We now have customers all over Australia and are truly grateful that you choose to purchase from us.
